there's been a break in the burger photo case!
I didn’t know they actually had produce at Matt’s other than ketchup.
UPDATE: Colin makes a good point—that picture of the burger with the drizzling cheese can’t be the Matt’s burger because it’s got lettuce on it, unless the piece of lettuce is a plant to make the burger look better. Is that pic of The Nook maybe?
UPDATE AGAIN: Tim Gihring did some investigating and hands over this quote from the MnMo Art Director: “The owner decided to put the lettuce on the burger without any prompting from the photographer. Apparently the owner and the chef had quite a long discussion about whether to do it or not.”

I’m shocked (shocked!) that somebody at Matt’s would think it a good idea to throw a piece of lettuce onto their Juicy just for the sake of sprucing up the pic. The beauty of the Juicy Lucy, and Matt’s in general, is that it is the epitome of bare bones simplicity. You want a JL, you get two options: fried or raw onions. That’s it.
Next time I go to Matt’s I’m asking for my JL with lettuce.
