Deets After Dark

Sep 16 2009

I never dreamed I would have to debunk myths about health care from our elected officials and supposed leaders.

Worried patients have asked me about “death panels.” They have health problems that are very real, yet I’ve had to spend time refuting patently false accusations about health care reform. I can think of no worse waste of health care dollars.

Local doc, Will Nicholson, M.D., breaking down how teabaggers are cutting into his productive medical practice by spreading misinformation about health care reform proposals. This is the same Dr. Nicholson who decided to opt-out of his company provided health insurance in order to get a better feel for what his patients go through. Of course, most of his patients don’t happen to be doctors, but it’s a cool concept.

Will was a great XC skier for White Bear Lake High School back in the day and blogs about medical issues these days at TriagePolitics.com
